ASGC loves helping teachers and students. Some examples of how we do this are:
- Mini-grants
.
Occasionally, the Education Committee sets aside funds for special projects that benefit our birds and birding community in some way. If you are a student working on a Scout project or a teacher creating a community project with your class, we may be able to help! Projects are evaluated on a first-come, first-serve basis.

. - Bird Buddy Day
.
Need a special program for your preschool or early elementary class? Let us create a Bird Buddy Day for you. Up to twenty-four students can participate in a variety of bird-related activities during a one- to two-hour program. There is a small cost per student. Transportation is not provided. Ask us about bringing a Bird Buddy Day to you!

. - Volunteer
.
Though we do not have an internship program, we frequently need student volunteers to help with our various programs. Looks great on a college or scholarship application!
