Birds, insects and native plants are inextricably linked in nature.  Whatever happens to one will have an effect on the others.  This talk explains those relationships, then shows you ways to enhance your personal landscape for birds, insects, or just for the beauty of native plants.  Lots of pictures of birds, insects and native plants (flowering plants, trees and shrubs).  Directions provided to download handouts from our website.  Presented by Matt Valencic. At the end of the program, Matt will introduce a new PILOT program where members of ASGC and Shaker Lakes will offer consultation to homeowners wishing to make changes to their landscapes using native plants to attract more birds and insects. About 1-hour in length.
