DESCRIPTION:Join the Avian Survey\nat Cleveland Lakefront Nature Preserve\nSunday\, March 22 or April 5\, 2015\, 8-11 AM\n \nDo you want the perfect excuse to spend the morning birding on the Cleveland lakefront? Do you want to gain insight into spring migration\, contribute to citizen science\, and gather data on the importance of lakefront preserves all at the same time? If this sounds good to you\, join the crew of volunteer surveyors at Cleveland Lakefront Nature Preserve! There will be two group survey walks to help familiarize volunteers with the route and survey protocols. Meet at the picnic table near the gate into the preserve a bit before 8. Join us for either walk or\, if you are really enthusiastic\, both! You do not need to be Superbirder to contribute valuable data! If you can’t make either of those walks\, you can still participate. Contact Laura Gooch atlgooch@alum.mit.eduif you are interested. Laura will also be leading bird walks at CLNP on Sunday\, March 29 (8:30 AM – for Western Cuyahoga Audubon Society)\, and on Sunday\, April 12\, 7:30 AM\, as one of the Audubon spring bird walks.

Dress for the weather with footgear able to withstand wet \nmeadow terrain and meet at the Novak Sanctuary Parking lot on the east side of Townline Road about a \nmile north of State Route 82 in Aurora.
