Project ¿QUÉ? is a one week summer camp developed by John Carroll University (JCU) for middle schoolers from the near west side. Students are bused to the Novak Education Center for a day of nature activities sponsored by the Audubon Society of Greater Cleveland. A Northface grant initially funded this Audubon Day; ASGC has continued to fund it since then.

Inner city students learn arts and crafts as well as experience nature.

“I think it’s wonderful to bring inner city kids out to experience nature. It’s one of the few things we do for Cuyahoga County youth.”
—Steve Zabor, ASGC trustee and volunteer

JCU has discontinued this camp due to budget constraints, but providing a nature experience for these inner city students remains high on ASGC’s priority list. Contact Us
