PROGRAMS:

The Audubon Society of Greater Cleveland sponsors a series of program lectures which will stimulate your interest in the natural world and provide a pleasant, entertaining way to learn and be inspired.

Programs are held on the second Monday of each month, September through April. All programs are free and open to the public. Unless otherwise noted, they are held at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, 1 Wade Oval, University Circle. Protected, well lighted parking is provided at no cost by the museum. Program meetings begin with a reception and buffet supper at the museum at 6:00 p.m. This is followed by a short business meeting at 7:45. The program begins at 8:00 in the auditorium. The buffet supper costs $12.00 per person and requires reservations which can be made by calling our office no later than the Friday before the meeting. Details for each meeting are provided in the chapter newsletter "The House Wren".

BIRD WALKS:

Each Spring The Audubon Society of Greater Cleveland conducts a series of Sunday morning bird walks in cooperation with The Cleveland Museum of Natural History, the Cleveland, Geauga and Lake County parks systems, and the Holden Arboretum. Walks are held at various locations and are timed to coincide with Spring migrations to provide Greater Clevelanders with an exciting opportunity to observe the many birds that pass through our area en route to summer breeding grounds or which nest here. Walks are led by expert volunteers and are open to all without charge. A schedule for the bird walks is published each year in The House Wren.

FIELD TRIPS:

Members and guests may participate in our field trips to places of natural and environmental interest. Trips are led by capable leaders with expertise in the appropriate natural sciences.

Check The House Wren or call our office for information on upcoming trips.
